Premiere Transitional Services, Inc. (Premiere TSI) offers Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) services for mental health and behavioral health services to the metro Atlanta area. IFI is designed to be an intensive service provided to children and adolescents that have behavioral problems, emotional disturbances, or substance abuse issues. IFI services are primarily provided to children and their families in their home. Additional services are also provided to children in schools, community agencies, and courts as needed. We don't just intervene with the child we also intervene with the entire family, the child's school, DFCS, DJJ, community agencies, and other environments in which the child may be involved.
What to expect:

Non-Intensive Service is a lower level of care that is comprised of mental health and behavioral health services. Each client has an individualized treatment plan that identifies the frequency and grouping of services needed. An initial assessment initiates this process, which identifies the client’s personal, social, emotional, and behavioral health issues and needs. The focus is to create a comprehensive, person-centered approach that will assist the client with achieving their personal goals.

The nursing assessment is to observe and monitor the physical, nutritional, behavioral health and related psychosocial issues manifested in the course of the youth's treatment. The nurse will assess and monitor the youth's response to medication(s) to determine the need to continue medication and/or to determine the need to refer the youth for a medication review. The nurse will assess and monitor a youth's medical and other health issues that are either directly related to the mental health or substance related disorder. The nurse will consult with the youth's family/ caregiver about medical, nutritional and other health issues related to the individual's mental health or substance related issues. The nurse will educate the youth and family/responsible caregivers) on medications and potential medication side effects (especially those which may adversely affect health such as weight gain or loss, blood pressure changes, cardia abnormalities, development of diabetes or seizures, etc.).

Psychiatric services include, but are not limited to: Psychotherapeutic services with the evaluation and assessment of physiological phenomena including co-morbidity between behavioral and physical health care issues). The assessment, prescription and monitoring of a client's status in relation to treatment with medication and medication needs. The psychiatrist will discuss treatment options, discussion of medication and inform of potential side effects, adverse reactions, and provide further education as needed. Clients prescribed medication will be provided with a prescription, there is no medication administered on-site.
Medications Management Services Include, but are not limited to: medication evaluation and medication management services for mental health disorders.
